Information and Data Officer

Full time – 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9-5

Remote

£24,838.00 PA

1 year contract initially

Are you passionate about using data to drive social change? Do you want to play a key role in supporting the our efforts to end the abuse of older people and promote safer ageing?

 

We’re looking for a dedicated Information and Data Officer to join our team and lead on collecting, managing, and presenting key impact data across all areas of our charity’s work.

As part of the Policy Unit, you will:

 

Oversee the collation and presentation of impact data across all service entry points.

 

Maintain and regularly update our Knowledge Bank – the UK’s first online information hub focused entirely on the abuse of older people and safer ageing.

 

Work closely with operational teams to ensure data from the Helpline, Knowledge Bank, Instant Messenger, SMS, and Chatbot is accurate and report-ready.

 

Enhance the quality and integrity of our data for both frontline service and policy reporting, supporting communication with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Analyse and interpret policy-related data, including types of abuse and demographic trends, contributing to one of the UK’s largest non-governmental data sets on the abuse of older people.

Digital Fundraising Officer

 

Job description

We are looking for a digitally-savvy, creative and data-driven Digital Fundraising Officer to help drive income and supporter engagement across all digital channels.

 

You will be responsible for designing and delivering effective digital fundraising campaigns – from planning and copywriting, through to creative development, audience targeting and performance analysis. You’ll manage content across Hourglass’s fundraising webpages and support the delivery of integrated, multi-channel campaigns that raise vital income and increase the visibility of our mission.

 

This is an opportunity to shape and grow digital fundraising at a UK-wide charity making a difference to some of the UK’s most marginalised older people. You will need to be comfortable with managing personal data, handling sensitive content with discretion, and working within a safeguarding framework.

 

Location: Office based - Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 7GB (with some flexibility)

Salary: £24,838 – £28,016 (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time - Monday to Friday 9-5, 35 hours a week (part-time, job share or flexible working considered).

Contract: 12-month fixed contract (subject to review)

Stewardship & Fundraising Officer

 

Job description

We are looking for a Fundraising & Stewardship Officer to help support the long-term sustainability and growth of our organisation’s charitable mission.

 

This role is vital to the growth of our income, building relationships with donors and funders, and ensuring their long-term support through excellent stewardship, prospect research and strategic pipeline development.

 

This role exists to develop and deliver effective fundraising campaigns, build and maintain strong relationships with donors and funders, and ensure exceptional stewardship that encourages continued and increased support. Working closely with the senior leadership team and wider organisation, the officer will contribute to a culture of philanthropy, helping to secure vital income through a diverse mix of streams such as individual giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, community fundraising and trusts and foundations

 

Location: Office based - Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 7GB

Salary: Up to £26,394 (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time - Monday to Friday 9-5, 35 hours a week (part-time, job share or flexible working considered).
