Meet The Team: Shaun Paskin

We are very pleased to welcome a new face to Hourglass this month as Shaun Paskin joins our team.

Shaun, joined Hourglass in July as our new Development Manager. He is experienced in development and fundraising work having previously held the position as the partnerships manager for Governors for Schools. He has also held various roles within the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Shaun has 10 years of experience within the charity sector, joining us from an education charity.

He says, “Due to the work I had done with the MS Society I was aware that elderly people were subject to abuse but it was only when I saw the advert for Hourglass did I start to understand the scope of their work and the support they offer. I’m extremely happy to be part of the Hourglass team and I’m eager to make a difference and help call time on elder abuse".

When he’s not working, Shaun is heavily involved in volunteering working with Shift.MS and is a Trustee for a school in England. He is also an avid runner and rugby fan.
